Frontalot on G4

Thanks to Jason for txting me letting me know the cable channel G4 is running a promo featuring MC Frontalot. Since I don’t watch much G4 I decided to track it down on Youtube. Apparently G4 is having the spot pulled faster than you can say “douchbag”.

You’d think a channel devoted to gaming and geekness would be hip to the YouTube ship. It’d suck to have people find out about the channel who you know.. aren’t already WATCHING it. Geesh.

Sidekick LX Updates Coming to a, well.. a Sidekick LX near you

Just read this news article about the SideKick LX:

… the update adds two major capabilities: video record, play, and share; and support for stereo Bluetooth headsets and file transfers. You’ll also get some smaller but equally useful features, including an alarm clock, an integrated spell-checker, advanced instant-messaging functions

Holy crap. Video is cool and all (read: PORN!) but I’m most excited about stereo bluetooth! I am wondering what “advanced instant-messaging functions” is all about though.

While on the outside I am seated calmly at my desk in suburban Rockville MD, on the inside I am jumping on my chair a-la Tom Cruise in Oprah’s studio.

Merry Christmas and stuff

Well, I just found myself nearly sobbing at the end of Elf, when Zooey Deschanel sings “Santa Claus is Coming to Town”, thus saving Christmas by increasing Christmas Spirit enough to power the Clausometer that makes Santa’s sleigh fly. Yeah, I know.

I have to admit I’m a little bummed this year. I think this is the first time that I’ve been away from home for Christmas, at least without my family and friends. I’m certainly glad I have Alberto and the cats, otherwise it’d REALLY suck. Alberto got us tickets to see the Pogues at the 930 Club in March… how fucking cool is that? I’m so psyched! The more I think about being in the same room as Shane Macgowan, the more giddy I get. :)

Anyway, I wanted to wish everyone a Merry XMAS and all that jazz..

I’ve seen this ‘banned’ version of the “Relax” video a million times but never really watched it.

I absolutely had to have seen it when I was an impressionable 12 year old queerling, as it would explain a LOT. Am I alone in thinking Holly Johnson is totally cute in this thing?? in the suit… and the gays ripping his clothes off… and him riding the leather-daddy at the end?

Holy crap, I think it made me gay.
