Keep in mind my experiences are only with routes 91 (Jackson/Esplanade,) 42 (Canal,) and 94 (Broad.)
Completely Unreliable Service
I can’t count how many times I’ve waited for a bus to come in the morning only to wait for over an hour and give up and call a cab to go to work. One time I spent over $60 in one week in cab fares because the buses never came and I couldn’t ride my bike after my accident.
Broken/Missing Bike Racks
I don’t know what it is about the bike racks, but I think they break the instant they put them on the buses.
Schedules
For the love of $DEITY, can we get some schedules posted ANYWHERE in real life? On the bus maybe? At the bus stops? It’s fine and dandy to have them on the web site, but that doesn’t help when you’re out on the street, wondering what time the next bus is coming or if it’s even running anymore. I get asked by tourists just about every time I’m waiting, “how often does it come by? is it still running?” and I can never answer them. I bet more people would ride the bus/streetcar if they actually knew something about the schedule.
Imbecilic Schedule Designers
What fucktard designed these schedules? Notice how none of the descriptions on the schedule grid are on the map they give you? How fucking stupid is that??
